AIJU GUIDE

Dear families,

Once again, we dedicate special attention to the world of play to move towards responsible consumption of an element as crucial to a child’s development as toys. Today, we have distributed the AIJU GUIDE from the Toy Technology Institute of Valencia, with which we have been collaborating for 25 years! (You can download it by clicking here: AIJU GUIDE).

What is the AIJU Guide?

A well-regarded publication consulted by educators, families, psychologists, teachers, etc. It is an essential tool for analyzing toys, independent and non-profit, offering an exhaustive study of toys released in 2024. The toys are tested by play experts with the collaboration of many families and schools involved in the studies. The guide’s goal is not to increase sales but to ensure the toys sold are of high quality and valued more highly.

What is the AIJU Guide NOT?

It is not a toy catalog; instead, it is a resource for selecting, with sound judgment, a play and educational element as important to a child’s development as a toy.

What is the AIJU Guide for?

It helps understand the true value and function of toys to adopt ideas and choose the best for each child. We encourage you to compare its recommendations with your children’s interests to make a well-informed choice. This edition includes an interesting article on play and toys at school, linking to our first EduTalk held this past November 30.

Can we collaborate with the AIJU Guide?

By spreading awareness of this informative tool, you are already contributing. However, if, as families, you wish to participate in the guide’s creation and have your opinions heard, you can contact the AIJU Pedagogy Department (oepi@aiju.info).

We hope this valuable resource will once again be helpful. Happy playing, everyone!
