This past Saturday, November 30th, our school hosted the first EduTalk, a series of training capsules that can take various forms such as workshops, practical experiences, presentations, or open conferences. These events bring together professionals from the educational field to discuss topics related to learning, education, talents, emotions, and more, aiming to share meaningful ideas within our school’s educational community and with anyone interested in the surrounding area.

The theme of this inaugural EduTalk was “The Importance of Play and Toys in Early Childhood (Ages 0-6)”, organized in collaboration with Eurekakids Vilassar de Mar, a specialized local toy and play store. Over sixty people, including adults and children, gathered in our school’s gymnasium for two hours to take part in this family-oriented initiative. Attendees experienced our unique perspective on play and toys as educational resources, while also enjoying ideas, games, books, toys, and shared moments.

As has been customary for the past 25 years, we provided attending families with a copy of the AIJU Guide, published by the Toy Technology Institute of Valencia. This annual guide offers insights into the latest trends in the toy industry and a comprehensive collection of articles on play and education.

Thrilled by the success of this first experience, we are already working on new EduTalk proposals to bring them to life soon!
